Answer:- Imam Ali (AS) prepared all the requirements of Ghusl, Hanoot and Kafan. He and his own family and sincere companions prayed on the Prophet (SAWA), then all other Muslims prayed on the Prophet (SAWA). when Imam Ali (AS) was busy in preparing the funeral of the Prophet (SAWA), Abu Bakr, Umar, Uthman and their group were busy in Saqeefa trying to take over the rule over Muslims, taking advantage of the involvement of Iman Ali (AS) in the funeral and his inability to come to Saqeefa before completing the funeral arrangements of the Prophet (SAWA).
