WHAT IS THE MEANING OF ‘ALLAHU AKBAR’?

Question:
What is the actual meaning of the phrase ‘Allahu Akbar’, which is usually written as ‘God is great’?
Answer:
A man said in the presence of Imam Jafar al-Sadiq (a.s), a great grandson of the Prophet Muhammad (s) and the 6th holy Imam within Shia Islam:
“Allahu Akbar (God is Greater).”
The holy Imam said: “Do you know what He is greater than?!”
The man said: “He is greater than everything.”
The Imam said: “Then you limited him (as you compared Him with everything).”
He said: “So what should I say?!”
The Imam explained: “Allahu Akbar means: God is greater than being described.”

Is celebrating the birthday of the saints {awliya’} of God a kind of polytheism and innovation {bid‘ah}?

Question- Is celebrating the birthday of the saints {awliya’} of God a kind of polytheism and innovation {bid‘ah}?

Reply: Although honoring the memory of meritorious servants of God by celebrating their birthday is an indisputable issue from the perspective of learned men, in a bid to remove any kind of doubt in this regard, we shall examine the proofs supporting its legitimacy.

Holding ceremonies is a means of expressing love

The Holy Qur’an invites the Muslims to love the Holy Prophet (S) and his Ahl al-Bayt (‘a):
﴿ قُل لَّا أَسْأَلُكُمْ عَلَيْهِ أَجْرًا إِلَّا الْمَوَدَّةَ فِي الْقُرْبَىٰ ﴾
“Say, I do not ask of you any reward for it except the affection for {my} relatives.”1
There is no doubt that holding a ceremony in commemoration of divine saints is a manifestation of the people’s love and affection to them, an act which is confirmed by the Holy Qur’an.

Holding ceremonies is a way of paying tribute to the Prophet (S)

The Qur’an considers the act of honoring the station of the Messenger of Allah (S) and helping him as a criterion for uprightness and felicity.
“Those who believe in him, honor him, and help him and follow the light that has been sent down with him, they are the felicitous.”2
It is so evident from the quoted verse that honoring the Messenger of Allah (S) is a wholesome and acceptable act from the viewpoint of Islam, and holding a ceremony, which refreshes the splendorous memory of the Prophet (S) and hails his lofty station is something which pleases God. This verse mentions four attributes of the righteous:
a. Faith: ﴾ بِهِ ءَامَنُوا فَٱلَّذِيْنَ ﴿ “Those who believe in him”;
b. Following his light: ﴾ مَعَهُ أُنزِلَ ٱلَّذِينَ ٱلنُّورَ وَٱتَّبَعُوا ﴿ And follow the light that has been sent down with him”;
c. Helping him: ﴾ وَنَصَرُوهُ ﴿ “And help him”; and
d. Honoring the station of the Prophet (S): ﴾ وَعَزَّرُوهُ ﴿ “And honor him”.
Therefore, honoring and paying homage to the Prophet (S) alongside faith, assisting him and following his orders, is an expedient affair, and commemorating the Holy Prophet (S) corresponds to “honoring him”.

Holding of ceremonies is the same as following and obeying God

God hails the Holy Prophet (S) in the Glorious Qur’an, and states:
ورفعنا لك ذكرك
“Did We not exalt your name?”3
This noble verse shows clearly that God wishes that the splendor and magnificence of the Prophet (S) prevail in the world and He Himself hails him in the verses of the Qur’an.
Following our heavenly book, we also hail the lofty station of that model of perfection and virtue by holding splendorous ceremonies. In doing so, we express an extent of our loyalty and obedience to the Lord of the worlds.
It is obvious that the aim of the Muslims’ holding such ceremonies is nothing but exalting the Holy Prophet (S).

Sending down revelation is not less significant than sending down table-spread {ma’idah}

The Glorious Qur’an thus quotes a prophet of God, ‘Isa (Jesus) (‘a) as saying:
﴿ قَالَ عِيسَى ابْنُ مَرْيَمَ اللَّهُمَّ رَبَّنَا أَنزِلْ عَلَيْنَا مَآئِدَةً مِّنَ السَّمَاء تَكُونُ لَنَا عِيداً لِّأَوَّلِنَا وَآخِرِنَا وَآيَةً مِّنكَ وَارْزُقْنَا وَأَنتَ خَيْرُ الرَّازِقِينَ ﴾
“Said Jesus son of Mary, ‘O Allah! Our Lord! Send down to us a table from the sky, to be a festival for us, for the first ones and the last ones among us and as a sign from You, and provide for us; for You are the best of providers’.”4
Hadrat ‘Isa (‘a) requests a heavenly table-spread from God to celebrate the day of its coming down.
Now, when a revered prophet like Jesus (‘a) celebrates the day of sending down the heavenly table-spread, which brings physical enjoyment to people, can we say that Muslims’ celebration of the day of sending down divine revelation or the birthday of the Holy Prophet (S), who is the savior of mankind and the cause of human societies’ survival, an act of polytheism {shirk} or innovation in religion {bid‘ah}?!

The Muslims’ Practice

The followers of Islam have been holding such ceremony for a long time with the aim of refreshing the memory of the Holy Prophet (S).
In Tarikh al-Khamis, Husayn ibn Muhammad ad-Diyar Bakri thus writes:
The Muslims of the world always hold ceremonies during the month of birth of the Prophet, hold banquets, give charity during the nights, express merriment, multiply their good deeds, and take to reciting poems on his birth, and making known his all-encompassing blessings and graces to all.5
The things we have mentioned verify the general ruling of the permissibility and merit of commemorating eminent sacred personages which is consistent with the viewpoint of the Qur’an and the practice of Muslims, and the groundlessness of the supposition that holding ceremonies in commemoration of the beloved of God isbid‘ah; for, bid‘ah is something, the particular or general permissibility of which is not inferred from the Qur’an and the Sunnah, whereas the general judgment of the mentioned issue can be noticed in the Qur’anic verses and perennial practice of the Muslims.
In the same vein, holding such ceremonies is intended to express honor and respect to the meritorious servants of God with the belief in their servitude to and neediness of the Lord of the worlds.
Therefore, the said practice is completely compatible with the principle of monotheism and unity of God.
As such, it is evident that the claim of those who say that holding ceremonies in commemoration of eminent sacred people is tantamount to committing polytheism and associating others with God is baseless and unfounded.

If the Imam Mahdi AJ is supposed to be the only one who will rise by the sword why did Imam Hussain A.S fight?

Question:
If the Imam Mahdi AJK is supposed to be the only one who will rise by the sword why did Imam Hussain A.S fight?

Answer:
Every Infallible Imam does his best to save Islam in the best way that the circumstances allow. Imam Husain (AS) had no other way to save Islam but to rise with sword against Yazeed, while other Imams after him did not rise with sword because of the difference in circumstances which lead to different results. Imam Al-Mahdi (AS) will rise with sword as well because he will be the Imam who will remove all types of injustice and establish justice all over the world, and such great aim needs him to rise with sword. Do Shias Insult the Sahaba?

Why Shia insult the sahaaba of prophet Mohamed (SCW)

Answer:- Shia Muslims are the real followers of Quran and the Prophet (SAWA) , hence
they admire every pious and dislike every sinner. Those who disobeyed the
Prophet after his life are not admired by Shia Muslims and those who
remained faithful and obedient to Allah and the Prophet are admired. You
may read in Saheeh Bukhari Hadeeth al Hawdh in which the Prophet had said
the many of my companions will be sent to hell fire because they will
deviate after me.

Was not Prophet (s.a.w.a) 's daughter, Fatima angry with Caliphs?

It is reported in none other than . . .
Sahih al Bukhari

The most authentic book according to the Sunni school of thought.

Supposedly 100% authentic.

Quoting
Sahih al Bukhari Volume 5, Book 57, Hadith 61

"Allah's Apostle said,"Fatima is a part of me.and he who makes her angry, makes me angry.""
The Prophet of Islam said.
Fatima(a) is:

"The leader of all the women in paradise."&"The leader of all beieving women."
Reported in Sahih al Bukhari, volume 4, Book 56, Hadith 819

So that is the status of  FATIMAH (A)

You would think that people would respect her, treat her well and not hurt her ....

However......

The same book states:

"Fatimah, the daughter of Allah's Apostle got angry and stopped speaking to Abu Bakr, and continued assuming that attitude till she died."
Reported by Aisha, Sahih al Bukhari ,volume 4, Book 53, Hadith 325

So for six months Fatimah (a)  was angry with Abu Bakr and stopped speaking to him!

Whoever angers Fatimah (a) angers the Prophet (s).

Whoever angers the Prophet (s) angers ALLAH.

What great crime brought on the  anger of the daughter of the Prophet (s) of Allah?
A women of virtue and patience.

She repeatedly asked Abu Bakr to give back Fadak. A piece of land that was gifted to  her by her father.
Abu Bakr had usurped it!

He refused to give back her.

He claimed that Prophets (a) do not leave inheritance!

If he was speaking the truth, then why didn't the DAUGHTER of the Prophet (s)  know that she would get no inheritance?

Didn't the Prophet (s) of Islam  speak to her about inheritance?

In reality the Prophets (s)  do leave inheritance.

The Quran says: "And Sulaiman was Dawood's heir,"
[27:16]

Sulaiman (a) was a king, he inherited the kingdom and wealth of his father.

Both were Prophets!
Even the wives of the Prophet Muhammad (s) inherited his possessions, including land.

So who was speaking the truth?

Fatimah (a) or Abu Bakr ?

How did Imam Ali (a) React?

It is written in Sahih Muslim...

"So Abu Bakr refused to hand over  anything from it to Fatimah who got  angry with Abu Bakr for this reason. She forsook him and did not talk to  him until the end of her life. She lived for six months after  the death of the Messenger of Allah.
When she died, her husband. 'Ali b. Abu Talib, buried her at night. He did not inform Abu Bakr about her death and offered the funeral prayer over her himself.
"

In the same Hadith Aisha goes on saying:

"He (Ali) had not yet given allegiance to him (Abu Bakr) as Caliph during those months."

Sahih Muslim Book 019, Hadith 4352

Imam Ali (a) did not give the pledge  of allegiance to Abu Bakr for  six months.

Don't the Sunni scholar say that Abu Bakr was elected and all thecompanions accepted him?
The truth has been hidden.

Do you want to know more?

Again, can you handle the truth?

Tabari,

The greatest sunni historian ever, writes about the event when Imam Ali (a)refused to give his allegiance to Abu Bakr
...........

"Umar Ibn al-Kattab (l) came to the  house of Ali(a). Talha and Zubair andsome of the immigrants were also in the house. Umar cried out:"By God, either you come out to render the oath of allegiance, or I will set the house on fire.""
History of Tabari,  Volume 9, Page 187

The great Sunni scholar ibn Qutaybah writes:

"When news reached Abu Bakr that the people had gathered in the house of Ali  and were refusing to give bayya, he sent Hadhrath Umar in their direction."
Umar said:"I swear by He who controls the life of Umar, if you people do not  come out of the house I shall set fire to it, and everyone inside shall perish."

The people said"Abu'l Hafs (Umar), Fatimah (a) is also in this house".

Umar replied:
"I do not care about this, people should leave the house of Ali and give bayya"

Shocking isn't it?

But there is more.....

Ibn Qutaybah continues to write:

Sayyida Fatimah (a) then said:
"I testify before Allah (swt) and his angels that  you (Abu Bakr and Umar) have  upset me, you did not keep me happy and I shall complain to Rasulallah (s) about this when I see him."

Abu Bakr then said"I seek protection from Allah's anger and your anger".

At that moment tears filled Abu Bakr's eyes and Sayyeda Fatimah (a) said:

"I shall curse you in every prayer."

The door of her house was set on fire and she was physically attacked. She died of her injuries six months later carrying the grandson of the Prophet (s) in her womb.

These Narrations are sahih.

Is that all?

No.

Many other crimes were committed.

Imam Malik writes in his Muwatta:

The Messenger of Allah (s) said regarding the Martyrs of Uhad:

"They are the ones for whom I testify."

Abu Bakr said:

"Are we not their brother, O Messenger Allah (s)? We accepted Islam likethey did and participated in Jihad like them?"

The Messenger of Allah (s) replied:

"Yes! But I do not know what you (will) do after me."

Al Muwatta
Book 21, Hadith 21, 14, 32, Kitabul Jihad

Before the Prophet (s) passed away, he said in a speech to thousands:

"Do I not have more right over  the believers than what they have over themselves?"

The people cried out:
"Yes,O Messenger of God."
Then the Prophet (s) said:
"O People!  Surely God is my Master, and I am the Master of all the believers."
Then the Prophet (s) held up the hand of Imam Ali (a) and said:

"For whoever I am his Mawla (Master), Ali is his Mawla (Master)"
Reported in Hundreds of Sunni books including:
Sunan Tirmidhi,
Sunan ibn Maajah,
Al Bidayah wal Nihayah (ibn Kathir)

This Hadith is Mutawaatir.

Many Sunni scholars claim that the word "Mawla" in this Hadith means "friend".Undoubtedly it doesn't mean "friend".The context makes it clear.

It means Master/Guardian.

This Hadith and many other narrations form Sunni books prove that Imam Ali (a)was the true successor of the Prophet (s).

So Imam Ali (a) was supposed to  be the immediate successor of Prophet Muhammad (s).

Followed by Eleven other successors.

The Prophet (s) said:

"The religion will continue until the  Hour (day of resurrection), having  Twelve Caliphs (Khulafa) for you, all of them will be from Quraysh."
Sahih Muslim, Volume 3, Page 1453, Hadith 10

The word Khulafa implies consecutive successors.

Thus the religion of Islam has Twelve  rightly guided Khulafa.

No fewer, no more ........ not four.

Only one group of Muslims adheres the saying of Prophet Muhammad (s) and believes in Twelve consecutive Khulafa.

Dear Muslims,

Accept the truth even if it hurts you.

Dedicated to Sayyidah Fatimah (s) and her oppressed children.

What was Fadak?

Answer:
This area of land was gifted to Hadhrat Fatima (sa) by the Prophet (pbuh) during his lifetime. Soon after the Prophet’s (pbuh) death, the first caliph Abu Bakr took Fadak under his control and Syeda Fatima (sa) demanded it back. Her demand was not accepted as it is clear from history and instead the issue was turned into a matter of inheritance rather than a gift. Therefore, Syeda Fatima (sa) went ahead and claimed her right over the land through Qur’anic verses even when it came to getting her right under the pretext of an inheritance.

This issue (alongside many others) as it is evident from the many narrations led Hadhrat Fatima (sa) to remain angry with the caliph till the time she left the world.

Who killed Prophet's daughter, Fatima?

CAN YOU PROVIDE RELIABLE SHIA/SUNNI SOURCES ON MARTYRDOM OF LADY FATIMA AL-ZAHRA (A.S.)?

The Eminent Sheikh At-Tusi wrote: “One of the denied facts is that they (Umar and his followers) hit Fatima (the blessing of Allah be upon her) although it has been narrated that they flogged her with a strip and a famous opinion that no one amongst the Shia scholars dispute about, is that Umar hit her on her stomach (womb) until she was forced to have a miscarriage, where the miscarried baby was named Mohassan. The narration (of the event) is even famous amongst them (the Sunnis), as well as the narration of their intention to burn her house when a group of sincere companions who had refused to pay allegiance and sought refuge to her house. And no one can deny this narration because we have proven it from amongst the Sunni sources through the narration of Al-Balathari and others, and the Shia narrations are numerous and our scholars indisputably accept them.”
(Talkhis Al-Shafi 3:156)

The following are some of the related narrations from the Shia and Sunni sources:
A. Sunni narrations
1) The purity of Fatima Zahra in the words of the Prophet:
a. Allah, The Exalted says: And those whom inflict harm on the Messenger of Allah will receive a chastising punishment. (Surat At-Tawba, verse 61).
The Messenger of Allah said: Fatima is part of me, whosoever angers her angers me! (Fat-h Al-Bari fi sharh sahih al-Bukhari 7:84, Sahih al-Bukhari – in the chapter ‘alamat an-nubuwwa 6:491, the last part of Kitabil Maghazi 8:110)
b. O Fatima! Verily Allah is angered by your anger and is pleased when you are pleased. (Mustadrak Al-Hakim 3:154, Majma’ Al-zawa-id 9:203)
c. O Fatima! Are you not pleased to be the leader of the ladies of the worlds, and the leader of the ladies of these people (ummah) and the leader of all believing ladies. (Mustadrak Al-Hakim 3:156)

2) The sacredness of Fatima’s house
a. The Messenger of Allah recited the following verse: “In houses which Allah has ordered to be raised, in them His Name is remembered”. A man approached him and asked him, “Which houses are they O Messenger of Allah?” He replied, “The houses of the Prophets”. So Abu Bakr asked him while pointing to the house of Ali and Fatima: “Is this house included amongst those houses?” The Messenger of Allah replied: “Yes, it is the best amongst them!” (Ad-Dur Al-manthur 6:203, Ruhul Ma’ani 18:174)
b. The Messenger of Allah used to recite the following verse at the door of Fatima’s house for six months, and according to other narrations nine months: “Verily Allah chooses to keep impurity distant from you Household (of the Prophet) and purify you a thorough purification.” (Ad-Dur Al-manthur 6:606)
3) The sacredness of Fatima’s house after the demise of her father
a. Abu Bakr bin Abi Shayba (born in 159 A.H., died 235 A.H.), the author of the book, Al-Musannaf, has narrated in a reliable narration: After the Prophet died and people pledged their allegiance to Abu Bakr, Ali and Zubayr used to approach Fatima, and consult her regarding their affairs.
When this news reached Umar bin al-Khattab, he went to approachFatimaand said to her: “O daughter of the Messenger of Allah, I swear by Allah that there is no one more beloved to us than your father and there is no one more beloved to us after your father than you. And by Allah, that will not prevent me from ordering your house to be burnt on them if they gather with you (at your house)”.
Abu Bakr bin Shayba said: When Umar left, they (Ali and Zubayr) returned to her. She said to them “Umar had just come to me and said that if you were to return here, he will burn the house on you, and I swear by Allah that he will do exactly what he has said.” (Al-Musannaf – Kitabul Maghazi 8:572)
b. An-Nassabi, commonly known as Ahmad bin Yahya Jabir Al-Baghdadi Al-Balathari (who passed away in the year 270 A.H), the author of Ansabul Ashraaf, narrates: Abu Bakr sent for Ali to pledge allegiance to him (Abu Bakr), but he (Ali) refused. So Umar came (to his house) with a fire-lamp. Fatimaencountered him at the door (of the house) and said: “O Ibn Al-Khattab, are you going to burn the door on ME?” He said “Yes! And this (burning the house) makes what your father had come with stronger…” (Ansaabul Ashraaf 1:586)
c. The famous historian Abdullah bin Muslim bin Qutayba Dinwari (who died in the year 276 A.H) has narrated: Abu Bakr realised that a group of people who were with Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) did not pledge allegiance to him (Abu Bakr). So he (Abu Bakr) sent Umar to them who called for them while they were in Ali’s house, but they refused to come out (to pledge allegiance). So Umar ordered his men to get wood and said: I swear by the One whom Umar’s soul is in His power, you have to get out (of the house) or I will burn it down on whosoever is inside it!” Someone said to him: “O Aba-Hafs, but Fatima is inside!” Umar replied: “So what!!” And he walked with a group of his men until he reached the door ofFatima’s house and knocked on it. When she heard their voices she cried loudly: “O father! O Messenger of Allah! What is being inflicted upon us after your death from ibn Al-Khattab and ibn Abi-Qohafah?!”
When the people (who were with Umar) heard the voice and the cry of Fatima, some of them left. Umar with a few members of the group remained, forced Ali out of the house, took him to Abu Bakr and told him “Pledge your allegiance!” He (Ali) replied, “And if I don’t then what?” They replied, “By Allah whom there is no other God but Him, we will cut off your head!” (Al-Imamah was-siyasah 13&12)

D. THE FAMOUS HISTORIAN MUHAMMAD BIN JARIR AT-TABARI (WHO PASSED AWAY IN THE YEAR 310 A.H) NARRATED: UMAR BIN AL-KHATTAB WENT TO THE HOUSE OF ALI. TALHA, ZUBAYR AND SOME MEN FROM THE MUHAJIREEN WERE ALSO INSIDE. HE (UMAR) SAID: BY ALLAH, I WILL BURN THE HOUSE ON YOU UNLESS YOU GO TO PLEDGE YOUR ALLEGIANCE (TO ABU BAKR). SO ZUBAYR CAME OUT WITH HIS SWORD DRAWN, BUT HE TRIPPED AND THE SWORD FELL FROM HIS HAND, SO (THE MEN WITH UMAR) CAPTURED HIM AND TOOK HIM. (TARIKHUL TABARI 2:443)

e. Ahmad, who is known as Ibn ‘Abd Rabbih Al-Undulosi, who is the author of the book Al-‘Iqdul Farid (who passed away in the year 463 A.H) has said: As for Ali, Al-Abbas and Zubayr, they remained in the house of Fatima until Abu Bakr sent Umar to force them out. He (Abu Bakr) instructed Umar: “If they refuse, then fight them!” So he (Umar) approached them with a burning flame to burn the house on them. So Fatima addressed him and said: “O ibn Al-Khattab! Have you come to burn our house?!” He said “Yes! Unless you do what the people have done!” (ie. pledge allegiance to Abu Bakr).  (Al-‘Iqdul Farid 4:93)

The attack on her house occurs
f. Abu Ubayd Al-Qasim bin Salaam (who died in the year 224 A.H) has narrated on the authority of Abdul Rahman bin ‘Ouf that Abu Bakr bin Abi Quhafa said: I wish that I did not raid the house of Fatima and that I left it even if the door was closed to (plan) war.  (Al-Amwaal 144)

G. ABUL-QASIM SULAYMAN BIN AHMAD AT-TABRANI (WHO DIED IN THE YEAR 360 A.H), THE AUTHOR OF THE BOOK AL-MU’JAM AL-KABIR, HAS NARRATED FROM ABI BAKR IBN ABI QUHAFA: AS FOR THE THREE THINGS THAT I WISH I NEVER DID, WAS THAT I WISH I DID NOT RAID FATIMA’S HOUSE AND I LEFT IT …. (AL-MU’JAM ALKABIR 1:62)

h. Ibn Abd-Rabbih Al-Undulosi has narrated in his book, Al-‘Iqdul Farid, from Abdul Rahman bin ‘Ouf that Abi Bakr ibn Abi Quhafa said: And I wish that I did not raid the house of Fatima for any reason even if they had the door closed to (plan) war. (Al-‘Iqdul Farid 4:93)
i. Ibrahim bin Sayyar al-Nazzam; the Mu’tazali (who died in the year 231 A.H) narrated: On the day of pledging allegiance (to Abu Bakr) Umar hit the stomach of Fatima until she miscarried Muhassan.(Al-Wafi bil Wafiyyat 6:17)
j. Muhammad bin Yazid bin Abdil Akbar Al-Baghdadi (who died in the year 285 A.H), the famous author of the book Al-Kamil, narrated from Abdil Rahman bin ‘Ouf from Abi Bakr bin Abi Qohafa: I wish I did not raid Fatima’s house and that I left it even if the door was closed to (plan) war.  (Sharh Nahjul Balagha li-ibn Abi Al-Hadid 2:46)
k. Al-Masudi (who died in the year 325 A.H) has narrated in his book titled Muruj Al-thahab: Abu Bakr said at the time of his death: “I wish I did not seek to raid the house of Fatima”, and he mentioned many things about that incident.” (Muruj Al-Thahab 2:301)
l. Ibn Abi Darim (who died in the year 357 A.H) has narrated in his book Mizan Al-I’tidal: Umar kicked Fatima until she miscarried Muhassan. (Mizan Al-I’tidal 3:459)
m. The contemporary historian, Abdul Fattah Abdul Maqsood, stated in his book ‘Imam Ali’: That Umar bin Al-Khattab said “I swear by the One whom Umar’s soul is in His power, they must come out of the house or else I will burn it on whoever is inside it …!”
A group of the people (who were with Umar) who feared Allah and guarded (the teachings of) the Prophet said: “O Aba-Hafs, Fatima is inside!”
He carelessly screamed: “So what … !” He then approached and knocked on the door, then he hit the door open and invaded it … and Ali appeared to him … at that moment Fatima’s voice was heard from the doorway of the house … she was crying for help … (Abdul Fattah Abdul Maqsood: Ali bin Abi Taleb 4:276)
n. Moqatil ibn ‘Atiyyah narrated in his book ‘Al-Imamah wal Khilafah’: After Abu Bakr took the allegiance of people by force, using his sword and power, he sent Umar and Qunfuth and a group of men to the house of Ali and Fatima. Umar collected wood and put them at the doorway of Fatima’s house and burnt the door down … (Al-Imamah wal khilafah 160-161)

B. SHIA NARRATIONS
As for the Shia narrations, it suffices to mention a few of them.
1) Ibn Qawlawayh narrated in his book ‘Kamilul Ziyarat’ in a reliable hadith from Hammad Bin ‘Uthman from Imam Al-Sadiq (a.s.): On the night of the Prophet’s ascension, it was said to him (the Prophet): “Allah will test you in three things” and he started counting them… then he said “as for your daughter, she will be oppressed and deprived (of her right) and her right (to Fadak) that you will give to her will be seized from her and she will be hit while she is pregnant, and her house (and privacy of her family) will be entered without permission, then weakness and humiliation will be inflicted upon her and she will not be able to prevent it, and she will miscarry her baby from all the hits she will suffer, and she will die as a result of those hits … and the murder of Muhassan bin Ali will be the first crime that the killer (Umar) will be accountable, and then Qunfuth, so they will both attend (the judgement).” (Kamilul Ziyarat 232)
2) Yunus bin Ya’qub has narrated from Imam Al-Sadiq (a.s.) that the Imam said: O Yunus! My grandfather the Messenger of Allah said “Cursed is the one who will oppress my daughter Fatima after I die, and seize her right and kill her!” (Kanzul Fawa-id 1:149)
3) Al-Kulayni has narrated from Abi Basir from Imam Al-Sadiq (a.s.) who said: Amir Al-mumineen (i.e. Imam Ali) said: “Your miscarried babies whom you do not name before they die, will meet you on the Day of Judgement, and the baby will ask it’s father “Did you not give me a name?” Verily the Messenger of Allah (s.a.w.s.) named Muhassan before he was to be born.” (Al-Kafi 6:18)
4) Muhammad bin Harun Al-Talakbari has narrated in a reliable narration from Abi Basir from Imam Al-Sadiq (a.s.) who said: Fatima was born on the twentieth day of Jamadil-akhira, forty-five years after the birth of the Prophet. And the cause of her death was that Qunfuth, the slave of the man (i.e. Abu Bakr), by the command of his master (Abu Bakr), hit her with his sword, from which she miscarried Muhassan, and she became severely ill from this event. And she did not allow anyone of those whom harmed her to enter her house. There were two of the companions of the Prophet (i.e. Umar and Abu Bakr) who asked Amir Al-mumineen (Imam Ali) to intercede on their behalf (and ask Fatima to allow them to enter). He (Imam Ali) asked her and she permitted (for them to enter). When they entered, they remarked “How are you O daughter of the Messenger of Allah?” She replied “I am well, praise to Allah”. Then she told them both, “Have you not heard the Prophet say “Fatima is a part of me, whosoever hurts her has in fact hurt me, and whoever hurts me has in fact hurt Allah”?” They both affirmed that. She said “I swear by Allah that you have both hurt me.” So they both left the house and she was displeased with them.   (Dala-il Al-Imamah 45)
5) Sayyed Bin Tawoos has narrated in his book Al-Turaf on the authority of Imam Al-Kathim (a.s.) who said: When the Messenger of Allah was in the last stages of his life, he summoned people of the Ansar and told them “Verily Fatima’s door is my door and her house is my house, whosoever violates it has in fact violated the sanctity of Allah.” The Imam cried for a while and could not continue his words, then he said: “I swear by Allah, the sanctity of Allah has been violated! I swear by Allah, the sanctity of Allah has been violated! I swear by Allah, the sanctity of Allah has been violated! O my mother, blessings of Allah upon her!”  (Bihar Al-Anwar 22:476).
Allah’s peace and blessings be upon Lady Fatima, the day she was born, the day she passed away, and the day she will be resurrected.

The 'Amr' of the Ulil-Amr

Can we do tabarra by taking names of enemies?

Doubt

An attempt to curse the enemies of Islam is met with much protest from certain sections of Muslims. They begin by claiming that the practice of cursing enemies of Islam (tabarra) itself is baseless. Then in the face of overwhelming evidence from the Holy Quran and Prophetic Sunnah, they concede that tabarra is an Islamic practice but at a general level; therefore, no names must be taken while cursing the enemies. They argue that neither Allah the High nor the Noble Prophet nor the infallible Imams (a.s.) have taken names. So why should we? We cannot exceed them. Hence, like them we should also do general tabarra and avoid taking names.

Reply

There is no evidence to suggest that tabarra must be done only in general and we must avoid names. Just like tabarra is obligatory, taking names of the enemies of Islam and Aal-e-Muhammad (a.s.) is also admissible, unless exempted due to dissimulation (taqayya).
We will see the infallibles Imams (a.s.) have cursed with names and have ordered the Shias to take names while cursing.

How was Prophet's Namaz?

Question:
I heard a saying of prophet s.a.w that recite namaz in the way you see me. is it correct?
Answer:
Yes it is correct. The Hadeeth saysصلوا كما رأيتموني أصلي (Sallo kama ra'atomooni osalli) which means that we have to pray as the Prophet (SAWA) prayed. The Prophet never folded his hands while praying, and never washed his feet in Wudhu and never said Ameen after reciting Al Hamd in Salaat, etc You must follow the prayer of the Prophet (SAWA) and as we did not witness him, we must take it from the most authentic source who are his Ahlul Bayt (AS)who prayed just like the Prophet (SAWA) following his teachings. Any narration which goes against what Ahlul Bayt (AS) said is invalid. This is the reason that we say that the Real Prayer is been performed by the folowers of the Prophet (SAWA) and his Ahlul Bayt (AS). Wassalam. Mohammad al-Musawi

Did Abu bakr lead in namaz in illness of Prophet s.a.w.a ?

Question:
does abu bkar lead in nmaz in illness of huzoor s.w.a
Answer:
Not at all. This narration is fabricated and we have enough authentic evidences that Abu Bakr was never ordered by the Prophet (SAWA) but was told by his own daughter Aysha to lead the prayers with out the permission of the Prophet Mohammad (SAWA), and when the Prophet (SAWA) knew that Aysha has told her father to go to lead the prayers, the Prophet (SAWA) walked to the Masjid with his pain and illness, supported by Imam Ali (AS) and Al Fadhl Ibn Al Abbas, and dragged back Abu Bakr from the Mihrab and led the Prayer himself. These evidences are in many important Sunni books including Saheeh al Bukhari 1/236 and 1/243. Wassalam. Mohammad al-Musawi
