Saudi-funded terrorists shot martyred two Shia Muslims and injured two others in an armed attack near Civil Hospital Karachi on Wednesday evening.
Three Shiites were boarding a rickshaw when the terrorists opened fire upon them. As a result of targeted firing,Mohammad Aleem Jafari embraced martyrdom and Aun Ali and Ali Raza were shot wounded in the attack. The injured were rushed to hospital for treatment.
Body of the martyr was shifted from hospital to Imam Bargah Shah-e-Karbala Old Rizvia Society. Reports had it that the martyr hailed from Khudadad Colony.
Another Shia Muslim Syed Afzaal Hussain Naqvi s/o Azadar Hussain Naqvi was ambushed near Safoora Chowrangi on University Road. The terrorists opened fire upon him as a result of which Afzaal Naqvi embraced martyrdom.
His body was shifted to Jinnah Post Graduate Medical Centre (JPMC). The martyr was a resident of Amroha Colony. His funeral prayer will be held on Thursday.
Shia parties and leaders have condemned the targeted murder of Aleem Jafari and demanded that the terrorists involved in the attack should be arrested forthwith.
