Takfiri nasbi terrorists have shot martyred a Shia Muslim and injured 4 including 2 children in an attack on azadari (mourning) procession in Chiniot city of Punjab province on Monday night.Shia Muslims and other lovers of Imam Hussain (AS) had brought out a procession to commemorate the annual chehlum of Imam Hussain (AS) and other martyrs of Karbala in Shori Pipli Mohallah of Chiniot City. Takfiri nasbi terrorists riding on motorbikes stormed into the area and opened straight fire upon the azadar.
As a result, a Shia Muslim was martyred and four were wounded. Body of martyr Mukhtar Hussain was shifted to hospital for postmortem and injured were taken to hospital for treatment.
Shia parties and leaders have condemned the targeted attack on the Shia congregation and demanded of the government to ensure that Shia Muslims can freely exercise their inalienable rights in Pakistan.
