Maulana Ahmedali Abedi, Friday prayer leader, Khoja masjid, Dongri, Mumbai  condemning against disrespect of Holy Prophet (saw) at Khoja Masjid, Mumbai

In the second part of the sermon, Maulana Abedi condemned the various ways of insulting Islam from making the cartoon of Holy Prophet(saw) in Denmark to burning of Holy Quran to the current blasphemy act. He further went on condemning the use of products made in Denmark in different Muslim countries.

Maulana Abedi is said to be Bombay representative of Grand Ayatollah Sistani, Ayatollah Sistani is one of the greatest Shiite Scholars alive in today’s world. Abdul Mehdi Al Kerbalai, representative of Ayatollah Sistani in Iraq said in one of the Friday Sermons in September “The United Nations should criminalize any insults against Prophet Mohammad (saw)”.
