Grand Shia Jurisprudent: Syria chaos is another Battle of Ahzab
The Islamic Jurisprudent, Ayatollah Naser Makarem Shirazi said all western countries by support of some Arabian countries stand against Syria.
The senior cleric called Syria chaos as another Battle of Ahzab (a Battle mentioned in the holy book of Quran) and underscored that at that time all the enemies of Islam got united against this divine religion.
The same story is happening at the present time and all western countries such as the U.S and the U.K by cooperation of the regime of Israel and some Arab countries stand against Syrian government.
Ayatollah Makarem Shirazi underlined that Syria has laws and nobody is against reformation.
Qom Seminary instructor prayed God to help Syrian nation and save Islam against the arrogant world.
In other apart of his speech, Ayatollah Makarem Shirazi underscored that western countries had the same policy towards Iran but Iranian people did not give up bowing to pressures and sanctions imposed by the arrogant world.
The Battle of the Trench also known as Battle of Ahzab, Battle of the Confederates and Siege of Medina was a fortnight siege of Yathrib (now Medina) by Arab and Jewish tribes. The strength of the confederate armies is estimated around 10,000 men with six hundred horses and some camels, while the Medinan defenders numbered 3,000. The battle began on March 31, 627.

The largely outnumbered defenders of Medina, mainly Muslims led by Islamic prophet Muhammad (PBUH), dug a trench, which together with Medina's natural fortifications, rendered the confederate cavalry (consisting of horses and camels) useless, locking the two sides in a stalemate.
Hoping to make several attacks at once, the confederates persuaded the Medina-allied Banu Qurayza to attack the city from the south.
However, Hazrat Muhammad (PBUH)'s diplomacy derailed the negotiations, and broke up the confederacy against him.
The well-organized defenders, the sinking of confederate morale, and poor weather conditions caused the siege to end in a fiasco.
