At least 180 people have been killed and over 1,400 others injured in a magnitude 6.4 earthquake and subsequent aftershocks that rocked Iran's northwestern province of East Azerbaijan.
On Saturday, the earthquake struck the city of Ahar, near the provincial capital Tabriz, at 15:53 local time.
According to unconfirmed reports, six villages have been completely destroyed by the earthquake.
