Subject: The current situation in Sayyidah Zainab Area 24/7/2012
Salaamun Alaykum dear Brothers and Sisters,
The situation in the sayyida Zainab area is getting better al-Hamdulillah and it seems that we've won the battle against American supported Wahabists and rebels.  Yesterday I was able to go to Damascus to visit Sayyida Ruqayyah, through Bibbilah main street which was empty and risky. The walls were full of writings against the government and Shia and in favour of Zionist puppet Sheikh called Adnan Err'oor (Syrian residing in Saudi).
Yesterday, We were able to visit Sayyidah Ruqayya (as) and found so few people there. It was very sad as if Imam Hussein (as) has just been killed.  Today was the last attack to clean Bahdaliyah area and Ghurba. It has taken only one hour. The last 5 days was to clean Hejjira and most difficult was Thyabiyya (which means wolves community).
My words stand unable to describe the "himmat", high spirits and courage of the civilian Shia people in the area who are armed defending more than 3000 refugee shia families who were threaten by the rebels to be slaughtered in the areas surrounding the Sayyidah.
Now those people feel safe and freely accommodated and sometimes funded and fed. Free Iftar and Saher food is served for the volunteers in addition to their defending arms.  I highly appreciate "Imdad" local shia charity (supported by Iran) to fund all these activities, without which genocide would have taken place for all the shia in the area. They also funded all Homsi and other shia people who sought refuge in the area since a year until now.
Unfortunately, I've not noticed any serious and real support from other shia charities over the world or office representatives. Even our offices representatives seemed to me to have fled away or hidden somewhere, while other men are fighting or at last helping. American supported wahabis are sending terrorist to attack the country and the peaceful people but some of our people unfortunately are thinking of how to get out of it and leave others stuck.
There over 150 Hawazi students who are stuck here.   Sayyid Hussein Tabar, the Imam Khomeini Hawza assistant is still here to manage the evacuation of the rest of the students. I appreciate his stand.
The brave shia people (specially Syrians) are not only defending the area but also attack the rebels in their dens and fortresses and supported the army to obtain the victory in a horrible war. Before two days our people seized some snipers on the buildings of my area. They fled over here from their areas to move the battle to the shia areas but failed. Yesterday they stopped booby-trapped car trying to enter the area behind the Haram.  Al-Hamdulillah the area and the surrounding areas are now under control.

All my neighborhood Sunni people (including Abu Umer Masri and Abu Samer) fled away, although my place lies out of the shia protection coverage. They left me alone for 2 horrible nights where the place was occupied by the enemy snipers. Now I am phoning them to come back by on my responsibility but they are still afraid, although other Sunni are working in their shops and building east of the Haram safely under the protection of the shia groups.
Notice the contradiction between Akhlaaq of Shia who respect the right of others and other non-shia who declare their motto: either to be with us or against us, and no other option.

Today I was there when speaking with the Haram administrators to open the Musallah (mosque) door for the shia and to secure their safety.  Al-hamdulillah they agreed and I was the first to pick up the attached picture for the sad holy place. Jamaat prayer was held in the Muslla at Maghrib time.
Tomorrow Insha'Allah the Haram will be open at 10.30 am and we'll start cleaning the place.  Al-Hamdulillah we've won the battle by the guidance and support of Ahlul-Bait, sayyidah Zainab and some other charity Mumineen people.
With salaams and du'as. from the Holy proximity of Sayyidah Zainab bint Ali (Alayhuma Assalaam)
