Since late last week, the level of violence and bombing in the vicinity of Sayyidah Zainab has increased dramatically, causing widespread destruction, horror and casualties. So many families have been forced out of their homes and businesses and are now displaced. The locals are frightened for their lives, and those who can have left their homes seeking safety as refugees.
But for those who have no where else to go or no means to take them to safer grounds, must hide from the continuous threat of bombs, violence and kidnappings. At the same time, a number of citizens have armed themselves to protect the holy shrine of Lady Zainab (as).
JOIN THE ‘AMMAN YUJEEBU CAMPAIGN’
Whilst The World Federation is doing all it can to help the Shia people in Syria during these difficult times, the power of supplication (Du’a) especially in these days and nights of the blessed month of Ramadhan is immeasurable.
The Holy Prophet (s) said to his followers: ‘Shall I introduce to you a weapon which will protect you both from the evils of enemies and increase your sustenance?’ They said: ‘Yes O messenger of Allah.’ He said: ‘Call your Lord day and night, for Du’a is the weapon of a believer.”
One of Allah’s names is “Al Mujeeb” – the One who responds to the prayers of the supplicant when he calls upon Him.
This Ramadhan, please join The World Federation’s AMMAN YUJEEBO CAMPAIGN to help the distraught people of Syria by reciting as many times as you can the following Du’a where we are asking Imam-e-Zamaana (af) to intercede on our behalf to Allah (swt) to accept our Haajat:
AMMAN YUJEEBUL MUDHTARRA IDHAA DA’AAHU WA YAKSHIFUS-SOOA
O He Who listens to the distressed when he calls on Him and Who relieves his suffering… (Holy Qur’an, 27:62)
