Addressing a press conference, Maulana Jawwad stated that arresting of Kazmi is a game plan of the Zionist forces who have falsely implicated him in the case. He also stated that Indian government should not fall prey to such traps and snap all diplomatic ties with Israel.

In Lucknow also Maulana Jawwad had led a protest march demanding release of Kazmi. The call for Rail Roko is the latest in the series by Maulana Jawwad to pressurise the government.

Kazmi's son too has visited several districts in UP to garner support. On Saturday Jamaat-e-Islami Hind also demanded release of Kazmi and snapping of ties with Israel.
