A group of students at the Canadian ESLE (Ecole secondaire les Etchemins) school in Quebec organized a rally in the school campus to show solidarity with the Bahraini people.
Students displayed masks of Bahraini activist Ayat al-Qurmozi, while carrying banners that read "We Demand Freedom of Expression in Bahrain".
The ruling Al Khalifa regime has detained thousands since popular rallies began last February, demanding the regime’s ouster. Scores have been killed in Saudi-backed crackdown on the anti-government demonstrations.
