Saudi government should re-construct Hazrat Fatema shrine: Lucknow Shia Clerics

The demolition of Hazrat Fatemah's shrine in Saudi Arabia nearly 86 years back on 8th Shawwal, was the most unjust step taken by Saudi government. If they give us right to re-construction of the shrine. 
This demand was raised by in a series of protests organised across Lucknow on Friday. 

Spokesperson, All India Shia Personal Law Board (AISPLB), Maulana Yasoob Abbas during a massive protest held at Shaheed Smarak condemn the act of Saudi Government for its demolition and unwilling over the re-construction of Prophet Mohammed's daughter's, Hazrat Fatemah's shrine in Madina.

Addressing on the occasion, Yasoob demanded that the Saudi government should re-construct the shrine immediately and if they don't want to do then we should be allowed to do the same. We will go there and use
our funds for re-construction of the shrine, and will not ask for any kind of help from the government.

He said that Hazrat Fatemah was the daughter of Prophet Mohammed and after she died, was buried at Jannnat-ul-Baqi near Prophet's mosque in Madina city (Saudi Arabia). As the time passed on a shrine was constructed by the devotee on her holy grave, which was demolished in
the year 1926 by the Government run by Al Saud's Progeny. "It was very shameful, that the present rulers of Saudi are living in lavish places and the grave of Prophet's daughter remain in open," he added.

In another protest Led by Imam-Juma, Maulana Kalbe Jawwad said "The Islam never teaches doing atrocities on anyone. But such demolition done by Saudi Dynasty was imposing their ideology on other Muslims. We all condemn
their act and demand for re-construction of the shrine."

He added that So many years have passed, and several protest happened in nearly all the countries, but the Saudi Government have not re-constructed the shrine there only instead its left in open surrounded by railings.

On the occasion, anti-Saudi Government, anti-US and anti-Pakistan slogans were raised by the protesters. Nearly the all protester draped in black clothes expressed sorrow and anger over the same.

Later, several other clerics including Maulana Syed Raza, Maulana, Maulana Ali Muttaqi Zaidi, Maulana Mumtaz Ali and other present their demands regarding re-construction of shrine and condemn the lax behaviour of present Saudi Government over the issue.

Free the innocent Muslim youths jailed in the name of terrorism, demanded Mohd. Adeeb(MP).

People Campaign against Politics of Terror (PCPT) organized big rally cum convention where many
Religious leaders, Political leaders participated in front of huge mass of people including young Indian
Muslims gathered at Rafhe Aam ground, City station, Lucknow.
It was the first convention of PCPT in Lucknow which was organized by Rajya Saba MP Mohammad
Adeeb and Imam Eidgah Lucknow, Maulana Khalid Rashid firangi mahali and his associates.
Its main objective was to prevent arresting of young Muslim youth under the Unlawful Activities
Prevention Act (UAPA), which targets young Muslims for the act of terrorism without any evidence;
PCPT calls it politics of terror.
Maulana Khalid Rashid said, “From years the Muslim Religious leaders are proving that terrorism has
nothing to do with Islam and Muslims have no connection with terrorism as it has no religion, but still
jailing of innocent Muslims without evidence is carried out by the Government”.

Prominent political leader Ardhendu Bhushan Bardhan or A. B. Bardhan, Former General Secretary of
the Communist Party of India (CPI) supported the campaign and Mr. Atul Kumar Anjaan, comrade of
Communist party also spoke on the event, He said, “It is not battle of Muslims only, it’s the battle of
every human every Hindu. A human belongs to any religion should protect secular India and promote
secularism. He added, “In the Bomb blasts the innocent Muslim youth of Rampur, Bijnor, Banaras,
Faizabad and Lucknow are arrested and no charge-sheet made”.

Tehelka editor, Mr.Ajit sahi also pointed out some important points in his speech, he said, “All the
cases against SIMI are false and fabricated and it was proved and now these bureaucrats and media
have created a new name, Indian Mujahideen, which they say were the prime accused of the recent
Hyderabad Blasts. If there is any organization of Muslims of this name I appeal to government please tell
us where is there office from where they operate?”

Leaders of all the political parties were invited but Samajwadi party general secretary Dr.Ashok bajpai
spoke and said, “SP government have’s arrested any innocent youth or muslim in the state”. People
started shouted slogans against him and the party, due to which his speech was cancelled in between
when the mob started coming out near the stage. Maulana Khalid Rashid calmed down the public and
invited saeedur rehman kazmi on the stage.

Mohd Adeeb, then staged a protest from his strong words and sadly said, I was seeking the appointment
of CM from 7 days to invite him for the convention but the government haven’t given me the
appointment.”

He warned state government of ignoring this issue and added, “We wanted that the public the common
man the youth of the community to wake up and stand united against the police and government who

in the disguise of war on terrorism are arresting innocent people who don’t even know how to operate
a small knife. Muslim community never searched for Jinnah but for Mahatma Gandhi but Nobody
becomes true Gandhi here, people just use his name to get the votes in the elections”.

Maulana Khalid Rashid explained the proposals of the PCPT movement addressing media that, “Media
should stop using words like ‘Isalmic terrorism’ which is highly misleading and it hurts the sentiments of
Muslims. Why only Muslims are targeted as first as soon as any terrorist attack took place?”

Others speakers at the event includes Akhtarul Iman, Rashtriya janta Dal (RJD)and Dr.Shafiqurrehman
bark of Bahujan Samaj Party(BSP), who said, “We should learn from event of karbala as Imam Husain(as)
sacrificed his whole family for the sake of Islam and humanity”.

PCPT demanded to the UP government for the dissolution of UAPA as TADA was dissolved years ago,
which is misused against Muslims and justice to the innocents by punishing those who arrest innocent
Muslims.

All India Muslim Personal Law Board (AIMPLB) biased, Wajirgunj issue not discussed in the meeting

Lucknow :  All India Muslim Personal Law Board (AIMPLB) showed double standard in its meeting at Nadwa in Lucknow.

The demand of immediate release of innocent Muslims was made, who have been held under the charges of terrorism. But the recent terrorist attack in Wajirgunj was not discussed at all. The communal violence in Uttar Pradesh from past many months was not also discussed by the board and the Board also refused to give any statement on that.

After the meeting, when Muhammad Raheem Qureshi , the Assistant General Secretary of All India Muslim Personal Law Board, was asked has the board discussed the recent communal violence , he replied : Board is for shariah issues. On this reply he was cross questioned and the intensity of the question made him silent.

Muhammad Raheem Qureshi was seen struggling to answer when he was told, does not the life and the property of a Muslim come under the Shariah and isn’t the Wajirgunj issue worth to be discussed.

Apart from demands of releasing the innocents Muslims, other issues were also discussed in the meeting albeit issue of Shia Muslims was not discussed at all.

It is believed that an important member of Board who has been supporter of a particular sect in Lucknow acted as a hindrance in discussing any of the Shia issues. As per reports, other members in the meeting were also conscious about the presence of this member so they were choosy with their questions. This member is believed to be having closeness with Samaj Wadi Party.

Mr Qureshi got angry with the question of a female reporter. He said every group has its own difficulties.

All India Muslim Personal Law Board (AIMPLB) has now become biased. The board is seen solving problems of a particular sect. Demands of Shia Muslims are completely ignored by the Board.

Questions were raised from past many days among the people of Lucknow about the working of the Board but yesterday’s meeting once again proved the biased nature of the Board. The Board had not any logical answer for not discussing the Wajirgunj issue in its meeting.
